John Duryee, M.D.

About Me
Before earning my medical degree from the University of Virginia, I received a BA in Psychology from the Johns Hopkins University School of Arts and Sciences, and a Master of Health Science (MHS) degree in Public Mental Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. I completed my residency in Family Medicine in the town where I grew up (Summit, NJ) at the Overlook Family Practice Residency Program. I live and am raising my three children in Long Hill Township, NJ. In my free time I have enjoyed coaching little league baseball and softball, and spending time with my family both at home and at our family cabin in Lake George, NY. Using my ability to show empathy and compassion for patients, along with my medical skills and experience, to help families stay healthy and thrive represents the most rewarding aspect of being a Family Medicine doctor.
